We received a notification from the AMS-IX that due to future expansions all providers that are currently an AMS-IX member will need to renumber their BGP configurations to a newly formed subnet. As all bgp sessions with other members also need to be redone you could see some slight routing differences between bgp paths while updating all peering sessions with the AMS-IX. We do not expect any longer issues due to this as traffic should reroute when a bgp session with a peer goes down, but for transparency purposes we decided to publish this.
